Prayer: Glorious Lord. Thank You that all those who trust in the risen Jesus can be confident of His powerful, loving presence and merciful forgiveness. Please forgive me when I fail to see beyond the low horizon of my own ability to fix the past and control the future. I know that only Jesus can do both these things and in Him I have hope. Please help me to keep looking to Jesus today and every day, repenting of my sins and expecting His mercy and forgiveness. And help me not to keep this good news to myself, when so many are lost in their hopelessness, even though they distract themselves with many diversions. May my life and words bring hope to others, as they announce Jesus as the Hope of the world. In His Name. Amen.
