My answer was 'I don't know if I could stand the pain of losing someone in the family.' Years later, my youngest brother died in an accident. Our family traveled a long road of sorrow and grief. I wondered if God had even heard my prayer, if He does He will not took my brother from us. As I wrestled with HIM about my questions, our family has been touched by the comfort He has brought us through HIS people. I experienced the Lord as my strength, a very present help in trouble. I found hope in the truth that God would do what was right by everyone. I also learned that death does not sever our love for our precious loved ones for love belongs to the spirit and not the body....
